Switzerland considers repealing incest laws

Morally repugnant” is certainly an apt description of this proposal by the Green party in Switzerland!

The upper house of the Swiss parliament has drafted a law decriminalising sex between consenting family members which must now be considered by the government. There have been only three cases of incest since 1984. Switzerland, which recently held a referendum passing a draconian law that will boot out foreigners convicted of committing the smallest of crimes, insists that children within families will continue to be protected by laws governing abuse and paedophilia.

Daniel Vischer, a Green party MP, said he saw nothing wrong with two consenting adults having sex, even if they were related. “Incest is a difficult moral question, but not one that is answered by penal law,” he said.

Oh yeah???

Barbara Schmid Federer of The Christian People’s Party of Switzerland said the proposal from the upper house was “completely repugnant.”

One would hope there would be nothing to worry about and the voters would soundly reject this insane idea.

And its a crime and therefore the business of the law or anyone else why exactly Herr McCoskrie? Sure its an unappealing and repugnant activity to most people but if done between consenting adults then…so what?

“so what” is not the answer but the cause of the problem. If the we all had this opinion we would be in a state of anarchy and believe it or not if we look at what is happening in the world today and compare it to what Holy Scripture tells us, you may just think we are in that world. Everything in this world appears to be upside down and back to front and unfortunately this starts with the attitude ‘so what’. So what isn’t an option because it means we do not care about the consequences of ours or others action. Irrespective of whether two adults are consenting, this action is morally reprehensible and is a death penalty crime in my book, just as murder, rape of a betrothed, and all the laws set out in the book of life the old testament.

Ahhh an authoritarian nazi busybody hiding his own repressed sexuality behind violent religious dogma speaks. The difference between murder and rape etc on one hand and an act like consenting incest on the other is the lack of an unwilling “victim”…and therefore its no business of the law at all.

Keep your Jesus off of the bodies of the rest of us who want nothing to do with your filthy, hypocritical nonsense.

Oh James, what a sick mind. What I want to know is what happens to the idiot children born of such union or were you unaware of the consequences of sex. God set out moral guidelines for us all because he loves us; your rejection of anything to do with God is your problem because as the world moves further and further away from God’s standards, it becomes progressively more depraved.
