The ultimate goal when they talk about ‘conversion therapy’
In yet another media item completely supportive of a ban on ‘conversion therapy’ (which is yet to be specifically defined), the author of the opinion piece in the Dominion Post at the weekend “Gay conversion therapy is harmful, hateful, and doesn’t work” let slip the ultimate goal.
It’s not about protecting people from coercive or abusive or involuntary practices as they claim.
It’s this…
“I’m calling on the Government to not only ban the therapy, but to ban all anti-gay messages in churches and organised religions….”
In other words, they want to ban the Bible and anything else which talks about a biblical understanding of sex.
That will include sermons and bible studies and small group discussions.
