The pro drugs crowd are back. More than 150 ‘experts’ have signed an open letter to the Government calling for the legalisation of ALL drugs. But most of the “experts” who signed their letter aren’t the experts that you’re thinking of.

The $2.2m taxpayer-funded complaints centre set up by the Human Rights Commission for receiving complaints about ‘conversion therapy’ has struggled to obtain any formal complaints about the use of ‘conversion therapy’ in the two years since the new law was passed, despite significant advertising about its services, and they have referred no complaints to the Police.

You would think that at this time, the Public Service Commission would be concerned about jobs being lost and redundancies and all that sort of important and urgent stuff. But nope – the focus is on counselling, safe spaces and indoctrination for incorrect use of personal pronouns.

A bill called the “Fair Access to Bathrooms Bill” has been introduced as a private members bill to Parliament by NZ First. It’s pretty easy to understand, but the media and other opponents of the bill did everything they could to misrepresent it.

There’s a new resource for schools entitled “Students and Social Transition: A gender identity policy guide for New Zealand schools” from the Ethos Alliance. It’s a very valuable and helpful resource for schools and families wanting to protect children.

Oranga Tamariki has just signalled it’s ready to knock on family doors if they refuse to let their children change gender. A loving family who want to protect their child from confusion, chemicalisation and castration will warrant possible removal of the child from that loving family in the interests of radical gender theory.

Many parents are not aware that, while well-intentioned, Pink Shirt Day (coming up on May 17) is being used by activists to politicise gender theory and sexual identity of school children under the guise of anti-bullying programmes.

As a likely consequence of falling marriage rates, New Zealand’s fertility rate has also reached an all-time low, with an average of 1.58 births per woman in the year ending September 2023, well below the population replacement level of 2.1 required, and the lowest on record.

Family First says that the new phone ban in schools has widespread support from parents and the general public.

There are calls for the Government to stop funding Jacinda Ardern’s Christchurch Call. We agree. The ‘Christchurch Call’ is being used to ram down certain ideologies and to silence dissenters.
