Family First Comment: Wow! The Warehouse now promoting gender confusion.
“….10 extra days paid leave and support for employees at The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationary, Noel Leeming and Torpedo 7 for medical or counselling appointments associated with gender transition.”
Do they also subsidise weight loss pills and liposuction for people suffering with anorexia nervosa?
How very sad for a company to ignore biological reality.
The Warehouse Group has introduced a new policy for additional paid leave to support transgender workers who are transitioning gender.
The new policy will offer 10 extra days paid leave and support for employees at The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationary, Noel Leeming and Torpedo 7 for medical or counselling appointments associated with gender transition.

Chief people officer Anna Campbell said it was a business priority to encourage an “inclusive and diverse organisation”.
“The policy reflects that we are an inclusive and welcoming organisation committed to supporting all of our people and customers, regardless of who they are.”
The company is trying to gain Rainbow Tick accreditation, which is a certification mark awarded after an organisation undergoes tests looking at if the workplace “understands, values, and welcomes sexual and gender diversity”, according to the Rainbow Tick website.
Michael Stevens, programme director at Rainbow Tick said, “More and more transgender people are being open about who they are and it is vital that businesses can support them”.
