Steve Maile is a NZ-born preacher who has lived in the UK for the past 40+ years. He is the senior pastor of Oasis City Church in Watford, but has also preached on the street in various cities around the world. Last weekend he was arrested by three officers while preaching the gospel in his home town of Watford. But Maile is not the first preacher – or even just a person praying silently – to be arrested in the UK. We speak to Steve.
The Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) – you know, the organisation tasked to protect broadcasting “standards”, but which has allowed them to slip to the point where we don’t actually even think that broadcasters let alone the BSA have any standards at all – yeah, them – they’re hopefully about to be scrapped. All because of some mumbo jumbo. Literally. They were more concerned about the phrase “mumbo jumbo” than they were about the blatantly obvious increase in the level of sexual and offensive material on free-to-air television. We now know that is false. The mental health of young people appears to get worse – not better – after they undergo the hormonal and surgical interventions promoted by gender clinics as “lifesaving”. The latest research confirms that. The NZ media haven’t told you about all this research – because they are completely compromised by their Rainbow Ticks and Pride Pledges. MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ – You’ve gotta feel sorry for the Canadians. A socialist Canadian lawmaker drew gales of mockery for showing just how woke she is — by casually dropping the acronym MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ while speaking at a live press conference.

NZ Media In ‘Relegation Zone’ – Global Study. A new ‘trust’ barometer based on a global study has found that compared to media around the world, our news media is in what we call in sporting terms – the relegation zone. The communications agency that oversaw the study suggested that the media should “Write accurate headlines instead of exaggerated or fear-inducing ones” and “Dedicate equal time and coverage to different viewpoints on big issues”. Don’t hold your breath.

The Albanese government has changed the law to give a massive tax benefit to trans lobby group Equality Australia, in defiance of a ruling by the courts that it is a political advocacy organisation. “Political advocacy” is the same justification used for deregistering Family First (but not groups like Greenpeace, The Helen Clark Foundation, Drug Foundation, InsideOut and many other leftist charities in NZ who also do political advocacy.)
