Family First is calling on the government, or individual Members of Parliament, to adopt its App Store Accountability Bill, designed to target an obvious ‘choke point’ for accessing digital content, to improve online safety for children and young people by placing new responsibilities on app store providers and app developers operating in New Zealand.

To the 87,269 of you who signed our “Don’t Divide Us” petition in 2021 asking for rapid antigen testing as an alternative for unvaccinated kiwis to access workplaces, schools, marae, large gatherings, and places of worship, and perhaps contributed to the significant legal expense of the judicial review on behalf of 110 churches – thank you! You were right. We didn’t want the country to be divided. Unfortunately the government didn’t listen – and we are still paying the cost.

There’s a new star on the political left in the US. He’s a Democrat and he’s just become a 2026 U.S. Senate candidate – in Texas. And the media love him. And the radical left love him. But he says he’s a “Christian”. Isn’t Christianity and ‘Christian Nationalism’ the next biggest threat after Hitler, disinformation, fascism & whiteness, according to the media? Well, no, not when it’s Christianity that the radical left and the media agree with. The real question is – do we have politicians like this in NZ?

The provisional data of the number of abortions for 2025 has just been obtained. What has happened to the number of abortions since politicians introduced one of the most radical abortion laws in the world in 2020 (when we were all going into lockdown to protect “the vulnerable”? Let’s take a deep breath – something that won’t be afforded to thousands of little children – and see how bad the figures are. This is information that the media are desperate not to tell you.

Nobody in the media appears to be asking – why do 2 in 3 kiwis still not trust us – and more importantly, how do we win back the trust? 1News confirmed this week that even when they’re caught out (going down a rabbit hole rather than report the relevant news accurately), they dig an even bigger hole for themselves. The board chair of TVNZ was simply saying what we’re all thinking. We deserve better.

Stuff and advertising client Chemist Warehouse’s latest magazine entitled “The House of Wellness” is definitely not the type of material you want placed in your letterbox or on your coffee table at home if you have children. In fact, you won’t want young children anywhere near it. From articles about ‘ethical non-monogamy’, throuples, open relationships & kink through to adverts for sex toys, lubricants, Chocolust and rapid tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, it’s pretty clear why it should be clearly labelled “junk mail”.

We talk to our Australian correspondent Lyle Shelton from the Family First political party about some of the issues grabbing attention in Australia at the moment, including a prominent Australian psychiatrist who has warned of the risks of gender-affirming medical treatment for children and teenagers being banned from posting his objections on social media and has had restrictions put on his practice by the health regulator. Also, mosques in Australia mourn the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, new Liberal leader Angus Taylor stems the Coalition’s electoral bleeding, Pauline Hanson is censured over comments about Muslims, and Lyle reflects on the recent Aspire conference which Bob also attended in Sydney.
