It started with the suicide lie. Medical professionals told parents that if they did not wholly support their child’s attempts to change their sex, they might tragically take their own life. We now know that is false. The mental health of young people appears to get worse – not better – after they undergo the hormonal and surgical interventions promoted by gender clinics as “lifesaving”.
